Applying a small amount of wax over a sharp edge can provide temporary protection for the inside of your cheek or lips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remember that wax is only a temporary solution. If you cannot immediately place the tooth back into its socket, keeping it moist can help protect it while you seek urgent dental care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cold Pack<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A reusable cold pack can help manage swelling following a dental injury.
