For more than 20 years, Dr. David M. Fisher, Jr., has been delivering superior oral healthcare services to those whose goal is to obtain better oral health and overall wellness. As a trusted dentist near Guilford Hills, he went from serving as an associate to becoming the owner and has developed a long-standing reputation among patients as being the kind of professional who knows what patients need to achieve their long-term goals.

While in high school, his interest in oral healthcare started because of a conversation he had with his orthodontist. While undergoing treatment, he started to feel more confident, which led him to realize how rewarding it would feel to provide the same feeling to others. This awareness led him to pursue a career in dentistry.

He completed his undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While pursuing his bachelor’s degree, he performed rotations in oral surgery and special care/geriatric dentistry. This led him to obtain valuable experience early on. However, even today, he continues to research and remain an active learner by taking various continuing education courses so that he can ensure his patients are receiving the latest, most up-to-date techniques.

When he isn’t busy inside the office, you’ll find Dr. Fisher and his wife, Liz, spending time with their three children, Katherine, David III, and Sam. He enjoys playing bass guitar in the worship band at church, hiking, camping, backpacking, playing pickleball and disc golf, and building guitar effects pedals. He’s also a proud Eagle Scout!
