Billie Jo has been a part of our dental team for nearly 30 years so far. She studied at Guilford Technical Community College. She loves being around her work family, as well as getting to see and talk with the wonderful patients each day. Away from the practice, she and her husband Kevin have a son named Will who’s currently getting his Associate’s in Welding and a daughter named Sara who just graduated from high school. In her free time, she enjoys taking good care of her family and her dogs.
Nancy attended the dental assistant program at the Technical Institute of Alamance. Today, she has been a part of our office for well over 50 years, amazingly enough! She enjoys chatting with our patients and working so closely with Dr. Fisher and the other team members. At home, she and her husband Bill have a Doberman named Duke. As for personal hobbies, she enjoys going to church, baking, and taking care of her family.
Carla has been working in the dental field for nearly 30 years, with most of that time spent right here at our practice. She studied dental hygiene at Guilford Technical Community College. Today, what she loves most about her work is the wonderful patients! At home, she has a family of five that is Christ-centered and loves one another very much. Her hobbies include going to church, reading, swimming, walking/hiking, and gardening.
Joan was born in post-WWII Berlin, Germany, and her dental career amazingly covers over 43 years so far. She’s even been a proud member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association since 1975! After studying dental assisting at Prince George’s Community College, she completed her dental hygiene degree at Allegany Community College. Today, she loves being able to make a difference through her work, as well as build such strong relationships with the patients. As for her personal life, Joan and her husband George have two grown sons. In her free time, gardening is one of her biggest passions! She also loves entertaining, boating, hiking, traveling, and going on cruises.
Sandi has been working at our office for over two full decades, but her career in oral healthcare as a whole spans 46+ years, four states, and three different countries! She studied dentistry at the University of Connecticut. She thoroughly enjoys being a dental hygienist and particularly being able to help patients overcome their fear of dentistry. She is married to Lee with two daughters named Caitlyn and Madison. In her off time, she is an avid reader and foodie. Also, along with her husband, she enjoys traveling and seeing new parts of the United States!
Lora studied at Palm Beach State College and also completed her periodontal therapy certification at the University of Florida. To this day, she pursues continuing education regularly to keep her skills sharp! Today, what she likes most about her position is helping people improve their health and seeing them smile after they’re done with each visit. At home, she has a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, shopping, shipping, and going on trips to the beach and mountains with her family. As far as she’s concerned, North Carolina is truly the perfect place to live.
Tammy’s career in dentistry impressively spans over 40 years so far! She began studying dentistry at Mountain Empire Community and has spent over half of those 40 years as a member of our practice. She goes the extra mile to take care of each patient’s needs and make their experience here a good one. Away from work, she has two amazing sons and two grandsons whom she absolutely adores. Her hobbies include spending time outdoors on the lake, cooking out, cooking, fishing, and being with her boyfriend, her Chihuahua Paco, and the rest of her loved ones.
Valeria has been a member of our team for over two full decades, but her experience in the dental world as a whole spans 35+ years! All of her coworkers feel just family, and she loves sharing stories with every patient during their visits. Being able to assist them and connect on a personal level is such a privilege! She also enjoys being a vital part of Dr. Fisher’s amazing smile transformations. She studied dental assisting at Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville. As for her personal life, she has a husband named Darryl, two daughters named Courtney and Brooklyn, a stepdaughter named Brielle, and a stepson named Bryson. She enjoys spending quality time with her family (including her three fur babies) outside of work, as well as watching home renovation TV shows and cooking.
