Dr. Fisher has been caring for patients right here in this very office for well over 20 years now – first as an associate, then as a partner, and finally as the owner! Today, what he enjoys most about his job is being able to not only improve someone’s oral health and overall wellness, but also increase their confidence by revitalizing their smile’s appearance. Maybe that’s why aesthetic dentistry is one of his particular passions. Interested in learning more about him? Just keep reading below.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Fisher originally became interested in the oral healthcare field through talking with his orthodontist during his high school years. His teeth were seriously overcrowded, and seeing them finally straightened made him feel a lot better about himself. He decided to become a dentist but wasn’t 100% confident that he’d made the right choice until shortly after he started seeing patients. There was one man who he knew from church who never seemed to smile. Dr. Fisher assumed he was just grumpy, but it turned out his teeth weren’t in good shape and needed to be restored. After he finished treatment, the man couldn’t stop smiling – his real personality was finally revealed!
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Fisher and his wife Liz have been married since 1994, and they have three children together named Katherine, David III, and Sam. When he isn’t busy at work, his favorite hobbies include playing bass guitar in the worship band at Westover Church, hiking, camping, backpacking, building guitar effects pedals, and dabbling in some disc golf. He’s also a proud Eagle Scout! Fun fact: Dr. Fisher took the nature photos that are featured on the site!
